About Obelism Improve

Obelism Improve is an A/B testing and feature flag platform for websites, e-commerce stores and SaaS products, built and run by Obelism. It is focused on one task: giving you the tools to make your platform better, based on numbers rather than opinions.

What Improve does

Improve lets a team run experiments and ship features gradually from one dashboard. You define A/B tests with weighted variants and an allocation, target them at audiences (device, browser, operating system, pointer type or country), and measure the outcome with events you send from your own site. Feature flags use the same targeting to release work in batches, hidden until it is ready.

Every organization gets three separate environments (develop, staging and production), each with its own API tokens, allowed origins and usage. Four user roles (reader, editor, developer and admin) decide who can view, change, implement or manage what.

How Improve is different

Improve stays small on purpose. The client-side SDK is about 2.1 kB minified and compressed, so it does not slow your pages down. Results are summarized in plain numbers and clear charts you can share. The SDKs are open source, so you can read exactly what runs on your site and servers. Improve also runs its own homepage test with its own SDK.

How it fits into your stack

Install one of the open source SDKs: the core JavaScript SDK, the React provider and hooks, or the Next.js middleware for server-side tests. Prefer another language? Call the public API directly: fetch the datafile, evaluate tests and flags locally, and post events and exposures back.
